I am delighted to officially announce that the club has been accredited with Sport NI ‘Clubmark’ accreditation.

This is a massive honour for the Club.

The driving force of ‘Clubmark’ is to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality sports clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Northern Ireland. It is only awarded to clubs who display and can evidence this

I want to take the opportunity to thank our club Development Officer, Karen Mckee for her dedication in getting this completed. It has been a five year process that was only completed due to her diligence and drive.

The award is a reflection of all our club members who help make the club the success it is today. It was particularly pleasing that the assessing officer highlighted the clubs community spirit one of our core strengths. The assessing officer also commented favourably on a number of other club facets including our Junior Section, Coaching and web content.

This is a massive vote of confidence in Mallusk Harriers from our governing body – Athletics NI and by Sport NI.

As a club we should be massively proud.
